You are a detective in the Nypd named Dectective Lastname. You are the only grandchild of the right and honorable, Gertrude Lastname, a rich 82 year old with a heart of gold and discese, if she were to die you would inherit the famous Lastname fortune of 3 million dollars, enough to retire, buy a mansion and a Tesla. Your Mother is very jealous of you, as Gertrudes daughter, most thought she would inherit the fortune and she has been financially struggling lately... Your Grandfather, George, discovered Gertrude was cheating on him with a 25 year old man named Jonah, who had 2 other girlfriends! The shocking surprise was revealed by the newspaper... Jonah is a gym bro and goes hunting 6 times a year! He mainly kills deer and pests. [[ Begin ]]

While picking up the casefile an image of a dead body falls out. You recognise the body as your Grandma Gertrude, who is ''very''rich. [[ Request to work on the case ]] [[ Wallow inself pity ]]

You decide that you like to be lazy, I can tell how dirty your room is now, you disgusting heathen. ANYWAY, you continue to work on your case until you start getting very curious as to what was in the case file. [[ Be nosy ]] [[ Continue to dwell on the meaning of life ]]

You talk to your Captian who is known for being kind and sweet to all. As you tell them what happened they nod and say, "Detective, You should work on this case as the main suspect currently is your mother and you know her well." [[ Ask if Grandma Gertrude was targeted ]] [[ Ask why your mother is the main suspect ]]

You start crying as you check your phone for notifications. Your Aunt Jeline (Pronouned G-line) called you an hour ago. What do you do? [[ Call Jeline back ]] [[ Request to work on the case ]]

Jeline immidiately answers and before she can say anything you tell her you know. "So you know about Jonah too?" [[ Ask who Jonah is ]]

You kindly ask your captain why your mother is the main suspect only for them to say, "Your mothers fingerprints were found at the scene. Do you have anymore questions?" [[ Say no and get to work ]] [[ Go home ]]

You kindly ask your captian if Grandma Gertrude was targeted only for them to say, "Your Grandma Gertrude was rich, we cannot rule anything out. Now, do you have any other questions." [[ Say no and get to work ]] [[ Go home ]]

You start reading Grandma Gertrudes case file and notice she had been killed at 8pm that night while you were at home eating ice cream. If only you had gone to Grandmas house and ate ice cream with her. ''Hi, sorry I haven't finished yet. ''

Jeline continues crying as she says, "Gertrude was cheating on Grandpa with a younger man named Jonah." [[ Hang up ]] [[ Ask about Grandpa]]

You start crying again and your captain comes over [[ Pretend you're fine ]] [[ Request to work on the case ]]

Jeline starts to calm down as she talks to you. Maybe you have a calming energy? "Grandpa is okay. He is just a bit sad from explaining it to everyone." [[ "Wait he knew?" ]] [[ Hang up ]]

Jeline says sweetly,still weak. "He found out a week ago." [[ Gather more info]]

Jeline realises what you are doing and hangs up... that seems guilty. [[ Go home ]] [[ Request to work on the case ]]

After your call with Jeline you get in your car and go home. Once you arrive home, a bullet goes through your chest and you watch as a dark figure runs out of your apartment. As you bleed out on the carpet you wonder what could've been if you had continued Gertrudes case, it would remained unsolved forever, your captain would realise that this was something bigger, a family murder. As you take your last breath a cool embrace welcomes you to the afterlife with a laugh simular to Grandma Gertrude.

Your captian walks over seeing the mess you have created they immediately fire you for innapropriate behavior, you can never work in the NZ police force ever again, even as a receptionist. [[ Go home ]]

You look around to make sure no one is watching, you pick up the case file and open it.. BUT WAIT! You can stop now, you don't have to read it! [[ Read it anyway ]] [[ Put it down ]]

You nosy creature, reading other peoples information. Tsk, tsk. As you open the file a photo of a dead old person falls out. You immediatley recognise the old person as Grandma Gertrude. Poor Grandma, it looks like the nurses she had visit didn't do too well. BUT AT LEAST YOU GOT THAT BIG PAYOUT!!!! [[ Quit your job ]] [[ Request to work on the case ]]

You decide better of it and you put down the case file on the leading detectives desk. You go about your shift until it ends. [[ Go home ]]

You start singing and dancing like a disney princess. You live out your life in one of your three mansions and live in peace. However, Grandma Gertrudes case remained open until they labeled it a cold case. You could have brought justice to her killer, but instead you chose to spend your days on reality tv shows. One day, you can't take the guilt anymore and you end it all. ''The End''

You are working night shift, haha loser. You see a case file on another detectives desk. It looks crispy and fresh, like bacon on a nice summer evening. You walk past it and it falls down. [[ Pick it up ]] [[ Leave it for someone else to deal with ]]
